Sneak Peek
Posted on 11 August 2010
Here is a not so great pic from my phone that I took of our wall space at the Starving Art Gallery. In this photo you can see my acrylic Gocco’d or silk screened paintings (center & right), encaustic paintings (top left), acrylic Gocco’d or silk screened paintings with embroidery, just acrylic paintings and our (8×10) prints (center area).
The mix tape screen printed paintings sold like crazy at Renegade Craft Fair in LA. People were really happy to hear that a record painting was coming, too. My first batch after the show had to go to the gallery, because our space was quite empty, since we had taken a lot of stock from there to LA. We will be posting paintings for you next week. If you are interested in a mix tape (8×10) or record painting (10×10) in a particular background color, let me know. I had several orders for colors that matched people’s homes.
Sorry the paintings won’t be up until next week, but I won’t be in town until late August 15th, which happens to be my birthday. Yay! My favorite things about birthdays are cake/cupcakes and getting to have fun with my friends. I won’t be celebrating until next weekend, but I am excited nonetheless.
What do you look forward to on your birthday?
